There was a time when I was going to buy a Glock 43. I picked up a couple of Taran Tactical baseplates for an eventual purchase,......but came across a fairly good deal for a P938 [$550 shipped and transferred] and have been carrying it since it came in. It's a very good shooter and quite controllable even with hotter carry loads. Puts them in a small group!
Sometimes I am curious about the Glock 43 and how it would shoot,.....but really, I like the "cocked and locked" aspect of the gun.......and not having to fully eject a round at night when I put it in the safe. I just jam my thumb between the slide and the hammer, pull the trigger, and slowly let it down. Whereas, the Glock [or any striker fired pistol] has to be ejected and reinserted the next time you take it out for carry....which makes it necessary to have that "+ one" round just sitting in the gun safe. Anyway, that's just a person thing on that.
All this to say,.....I would recommend the P938.........and I may have to look in to the .22lr slide!
