sig sauer 1911 .22 magazine availability

Minnesota shooter here. I bought a sig 1911 .22 cal for christmas and would like an additional magazine. There seems to be a real shortage of them. I recall that someone suggested that the GSG is identical and the magazines are interchangeable. Does any one know for sure if that is true. There seems to be more of them available. Thanks for the help

The SIG 1911 .22LR is a rebranded GSG 1911-22.
Everything is the same except for the markings.

This is not the first time SIG used a GSG design.
GSG original designed and made the Mosquito for SIG.

When SIG saw how well made the GSG 1911-22 was, they contracted GSG to make it for them as well.

The ATI/GSG magazines are less expensive than the SIG magazines, because they are not marked SIG. Besides that, they are the same magazine.
