My father and I both own P228's. He has a factory P226 mag that he got from Sig with a much larger base plate to accomodate bigger fingers or whatnot. My factory mags are 13Rd with the normal base plate. My question is this: Where can I find these P226 mags with the large base plates? I have searched everywhere I can think of online but to no avail. I dont even care for the larger capacity, I would settle for just finding the base plate to put onto one or both of my mags. Thanks for any help.

His mag on the left (with larger base plate), mine on the right:

    Hope that works for you.

Along the same lines, does anyone know where I might find steel replacement baseplates and followers for Sig P232 mags?

Just got the gun and love it, but dislike polymer parts in such applications.

Try www.sigforum.com as well. They can guide you in the right direction if those dont work.
