It started this year. The 365 Spectre Comp was the first to have the updated cut, retain rear sight. It's still an RMSc footprint.
I have given up on all use of mounting plates of Red dot optics on slides ! They are too high and the mountings to the slide sketchy and ill fit. Look around there are different folks who will mill the slides to the specific optic for direct mount.
Just throwing this little addendum in for kicks.
It’s a three - stage trigger!
There’s a very noticeable, gritty “second stage” before the “third stage trigger break.”
The new plate came out with P365-380. Immediately, every reviewer asked to retrofit it into the 9mm gun. When was the change made?
I suspect SIG milled everything perfectly for RMSc. But Holosun in the same footprint is just a little bit longer. If you bring it up with them, they'll say "not our problem, buy Romeo Zero, it fits fine".SIG apparently had poor QC with a bunch of slides, and milled them imperfectly...
I also held a P320-XTEN. Compared to the P365XL it's a HAND CANNON! I'm interested in buying one, however I'm going to wait until they get the feeding bugs worked out of the magazines and I want to see whether or not there are still any legitimate concerns with uncommanded discharges with the P320 series. It will be interesting to see if they can show any legitimate testing to prove that there is a problem at trial.
