Sig Sauer "V-Crown" slug ammo.....

The box is labeled Elite Performance Ammunition branded SiG Sauer. I does not look like Gold Dot or Hornady slugs. The nickel casing has SIG stamp. Has anyone tried this stuff yet?

No seriously, SIG just announced it at SHOT Show in January, and it wasn't supposed to be out officially until April.

Never heard of SIG ammo, but it's out. Twenty pack of 9x19 125gr JHP is $20.

Sig is making the ammo themselves, it's not made for them. I saw a segment on Guns & Ammo about it and it's supposed to be very accurate. Right now they are making only 1 bullet weight for each caliber but that will expand and they also said rifle ammo is in their future.

This ammo is being made on brand new machines so it should be very high quality for some time to come. I probably won't buy any since the price is higher than I like to spend and I load my own too.

From the jelly tests I've seen, it performs well but no better than GD or HST rounds.
