I have a 220 which shoots nice and I like it, but I'm spoiled to 1911 and S&W revolver trigger pulls. I've heard that Sig's custom shop has a standard trigger job available which improves things considerably. Don't know whether it's them or me, but I can't get their site to open.

Is there such a service, anyone used it, how did you like it?

SIG triggers tend to get better with use, so depending on how much you've fired/dry-fired, it may get better with time.

SIGARMS offers trigger jobs, but the reviews I've read seem hit or miss. Ernest Langdon supposedly does wonderous trigger jobs for SIGs and Berettas.

I've handled two guns done by Ernie Langdon, and shot one of them. They are indeed wonderful triggers. Both got an action/trigger job for competition shooting and carry.

I doubt you can do better than that.

You don't need a gunsmith. All you need is a...

I've had good luck with Arizonaresponsesystems.com

I have a P229 and P220 done by him, with the Metacol III finsh. Nice!
