So because Texas is something like 98% privately owned, is there anyone in the Austin and/or Houston area that would be willing to invite me and maybe a close friend or two on their land to shoot?
I'm really tired of shooting paper one shot at a time, I've been doing so for almost 2 years. Having to drive 20 miles and then pay $15 and drive another 20 miles home.
I have plenty of fun toys to share as well, although I can't provide the ammo for the owners personal shooting needs, I am willing to let the landowner shoot as much of their ammo from my guns as they want. Also the brass would be collected and given up, (mostly 9mm, 38spl, .45acp, .223).
A little about myself: I am a personal safety nazi and have the 4 rules drilled in my head. At the UT shooting range, I have instructed about 20 new shooters and drilled the same rules into their heads.
This is your chance to support poor college shooters!
Send a PM my way and maybe this is a chance to make a few new friends.
