Sight Problems with RA 1911 FS Tactical

I've had this gun since last October and it shoots about 1.5 inches to the left. At this point I know it's not me. I've had others shoot with the gun, same problem. I shoot a nice group but it's in the wrong place. I had a gunsmith look at it. He adjusted the sights for me and it still shoots 1.5 inches left. I've ordered new sights for it and hope this does the trick, but they are taking forever to arrive. Anybody else has this problem? Is it possible that one or the other of the sights was installed wrong at the factory? BTW I don't have this problem with my Beretta.

Hard to say which one(s) from here, but they can't all be true.

If you still think it isn't you, I suggest adjusting the sights.

Try shooting from a rest or some other stable shooting position. It can be weird setting up bags at a shooting range for a handgun but it can really diagnose issues with the firearm or technique. I would try that first before even adjusting sights.

If it is still 1.5" left for everybody then the sights still need to be adjusted. New sights will only help if they are adjusted correctly/or adjustable.
