Sigma .380 disassembly?

Let me start by saying this is NOT my pistol. A friend of mine has had it stowed away in his closet and has never cleaned it or performed any kind of maintainance on the pistol. Recently (because of me) he has become interested in firearms again (he stil has his LTC) and wants to come shooting with me. I suggested that we check out his pistol and make sure it is AOK but it is not obvious to me how to take it down. There appears to be a removable plug at the back of the slide that will allow the slide to be removed. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW...What a piece of crap!

You are correct...It is a POS...You are also correct in thinking that the slug at the rear is for take down...The pistol came with a tool for just that reason...Poke out the "slug" and there ya go...someone with a better grasp of the english language should be along in a bit...

Just leave it alone.

At round # 3501 it will disassemble itself.
