6.5x20 seems like an awful lot of magnification for a 308 pump.

Maybe it's a real accurate rifle. Heck, I can shoot my CZ 22 cal rimfire over a mile. It even says so on the ammo box. "Caution, range over a mile."

I guess if every shot is over 100 yards you may be fine. The day a deer comes trotting by in some thick stuff at 40 yards you're going to kick yourself for having that much magnification.

Great scope for target shooting not so much for hunting in my opinion.

I've got 2...One on a TC Encore .223 barrel and one on my Bull AR. They work great for these rifles. I have no idea how they would work on a rifle with any amount of recoil.

They work plenty good for daylight prairie dog shooting.

i use it for long range shots at trouble some coyotes.Livestock problems with them.I used to just use iron sights,then the 4 power,Now that the eyes arent what they used to be it would be nice to have more magnification.
