simple "glock like" pistols

another Glock vote

I shot 1911's exclusively for 14-or-so years as I have small hands and the single stack fit me better. I was anti-Glock. A few years back I wanted a lighter weight CCW and "settled" for the G27 because of it's reputation and magazine capacity. Once I shot it, I was immediately hooked. Even though it still didn't seem to fit me right, I shot it very well and that's what matters. I am now looking for a G20SF or G29SF (10MM). It is a superbly designed pistol and priced very well compared to other pistols. I often see them used for great prices.

Whoever posted "All Sam Colt ever wanted for Christmas was a Glock" is cracking me up!

I came close to buying a Glock until I saw a Ruger SR9. I bought one and haven't had a single regret. It's an excellent pistol, thinner than a Glock and very comfortable to shoot. Once in a while you find a pistol that just fits your hand and the SR did it for me. Ruger being an American made pistol didn't hurt my feelings either though that wouldn't be a decider for me in what gun to purchase. A SR9 or SR9c are hard to beat for a 9mm bullet launcher.

Shot a number of Ruger autos - nice enough guns, but that trigger, Jesus. Couldn't hit a barn from the inside. Kel-Tec P11, same deal...

I'm sure very safe when stuck in your britches, but seems to me - better suited for Chuck Norris or Tony Soprano.

If you are used to firing a double action revolver, it's not difficult to master the trigger. I have to really concentrate on the small sights though.

I have put thousands of rounds through my Glocks with out a single failure of any kind. They are simple to use and very accurate. It can take a while to get used to the bulky frame but that isn't really an issue any more with the introduction of the SF glocks.

To the O.P....

....the most "glock-like" pistol I know is...er...GLOCK. That wasn't hard, was it?
