Seriously? I don't think he even had a chance to get a honest good answer. I agree maybe his approach was a little off for these guys with the maturity level. But still.....

Ignorant people like this guy. What happens when one of those encounters he started actually gets out and threatens his life. Obviously he isn't very caring about himself or others with this statement. Or educated on how a firearm works in relation to being able to legally carry one.
His ignorance is through out the thread. He could have simple just stated ( if he even had to state something ) " I don't like firearms as they scare me, so I have no information to give out on the matter ".
But instead you get.....

Even when I lived in some rough neighbourhoods, I encountered no robbers or thugs. None.

For me, carrying a weapon for protection is pointless. If you live in an area where the threats you've outlined are real, then I feel a bit sorry for you."
