I carry either a Taurus ti snubbie (13 ounces) or a Glock 26. Both are great, and it's good to have both. I can't always conceal the glock. Some people have had great experiences with Kahrs and Kel tecs, but I don't yet trust semi automatics smaller than the Glock 26.

No need to learn another platform
mag exchanges between both pistols
same ammo
can do duty as a CCW

Even better a P95. Takes the same mags, same manual of arms, smaller and lighter for carry. Will go bang every time and shoot with guns that cost twice as much.
