Class 3 is a tax bracket, it is not stuff or anything you can buy.
Trusts add flexibility to use and ownership - particularly if you are in an area where nobody signs. Even if you are in an area where a CLEO signs, trusts can be useful - albeit expensive to add flexibliity into who can take what to the range and when and with who.
They offer no added benefit to mitigating transfer costs upon death as you can file a Form 5 and get a tax free transfer.
