Single Six...gifted to me.

Hello all,

I thought I would share my story of my new single six.

Years ago my grandfather had a single six that he used while hunting. I remember shooting it when I was about 8yrs old. Sadly my grandfather passed away when I was 11yrs old and the gun was given to my uncle. I am now 27yrs old and have not seen the gun in years. over the last few years I have started shooting and was looking for a .22 to cut down the shooting costs. So I called up my uncle and asked him if i could buy/trade it off of him. Well he decided not to sell or trade but to just give it to me. Well the day has come and I just picked it up from the gun shop.

The single six is new model in SS with a 5.5 inch barrel and it has both the 22LR and 22mag cyls.

It just needs a little surface rust removed from where some finger prints were and some tarnish/old gummed up oil removed.

This tops my weekend.

My Single Six is also the 5 1/2" stainless , I have to say in the 8 years I have owned it I probably fired more rounds through it than any other gun I own! I know you will enjoy yours for years to come ,especially considering the history behind yours!
