I have an Ithaca SKB Model 100 12 gauge double (sxs). It has 26" bbls, a single trigger and a fiber optic front sight. I recently had a new stock put on it, a really pretty piece of walnut. But it is unfinished. I was making it a project gun but just don't have the time and I really need the money, so I'm selling it. The fore end is original and has a blemish on the wood, about the size of a quarter. Other than that, it is in real nice shape and shoots like a dream. Shoulders beautifully. But it has to go. I want to be fair but I don't want to get taken, either. I have a lot of pics if that would help. I'm thinking of posting it to gunbroker asap. So quick advice is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks and kind regards,

here are a couple pics (I have about 30 pics if you need more)

The replacement stock is an original Ithaca SKB Model 100 part. It came from an old-new stock pile of genuine Ithaca parts. The original stock is forever gone.

correction *new, old stock*

The issue becomes making the forearm and butt stock match. Even if you knew the exact stain and finishing materials, the forearm has the age factor. That, and it having blemishes will unfortunately detract from the value. Can you get a new forearm piece to be able to go with the new buttstock?

The other issue affecting its value is that it is a 12 with 26" barrels - that combo is somewhat out of favor with most of the folks who would be good potential buyers - BUT, ya never know. Anything that is priced "right" WILL sell.

Good luck with it

Check out www.gunsinternational.com for an idea of selling values - it is NOT an auction site, so the prices posted are what they dell them for - give or take some

Nice looking shotgun. Let us know what you decide to do. I might be interested.

I really wish my dad was still with us. He restored old furniture and knew all the tricks to making that stock match that forearm.
