Well I took my SKS apart and put it back together for the first time and I think I goofed. It now takes alot more effort to pull the bolt back then before (was smoothe as silk). I had been using the articles and video off Surplus Rifle to guide me efforts. I think my mistake was how to place the recoil spring assembly in the carrier. Has anyone had this problem before or is there a little trick involved?

I've taken it in and out many times but still with the same result :banghead:

The "curvy" end of the recoil spring goes into the carrier.

Also, make sure you have the magazine in correctly. It is possible that could be binding up the bolt/bolt carrier (just something to check).
