SKS sighting tool

Tapco makes a pretty good one. Cheaper Than Dirt stocks them for 15.95.

I have it. It worked very nicely on my AK, but I don't have an SKS, so I can't tell you about that. Should be no problem, though, as the front sight towers are very similar. The SKS uses a full hood to protect the post, but the AK only uses "wings." Lateral adjustment works the same.

I've trashed 2 of the Tapco tools on tight front sight posts. They also didn't work on tight windage adjusting slides as the open C design just springs open.

I threw the Tapcos away and got one of these: http://www.magna-matic-defense.com/category-s/13.htm

More expensive but I've lent it to a friend that had a frozen front sight post. He was able to break it lose and move it after destroying 3 other sight adjusters. Since it doesn't spring open I think it's also better for windage adjustments. BSW
