I paid $269 +tax for this 1969 Yugo last june. I knew I got an outstanding deal at the time. (Right place, Right time)
The rifle has all matching numbers and not one Electric pencil marks on it anywhere. It by all appearences has never been issued and came from someones private collection. There was not a speck of Comoline on the rifle when I got it. It was imported by Samco and there markings are on the bottom of the barrel, and is mostly hidden by the cleaning rod. I have been told that it was probably imported back in the early 90's but have no proof of that. The rifle shoots like a dream. The only thing I did to it, and will ever do to it is I changed the sights to williams fire sights. Which made a world of difference in how accurately I can shoot it.

Note to self, No more acronyms in titles...
Skribs, though both definitions fit, the Enhanced Battle Rifle is specific to the M14 family of firearms. Evil Black Rifle is a more general term that encompasses a broad range of firearms from AR15s to AK47s to Bullpup bolt actions, if it looks scary enough for a modern military force to use then it must be too evil to be owned by civilians.

A battle carbine is a better form of reference for what you're getting at friend. IMO it is anyway. But what the heck do I know. I'm sure someone is going to pop up and say a M1 is a battle rifle so it fits into your Evil Black Rifle designation but not into the carbine designation. I tend to group things into post WWII, medium caliber weapons and call them battle carbines. That would cover the AR, the AK, the SKS and a lot of other rifles that are shorter than the big American battle rifles and use smaller caliber ammo.
