Do yall know of any good way to improve the sks trigger pull. I have a yugo sks that is basically new and shoots great 3" at 100 yds. but I could do better with a good trigger.

Thanks!

I cleaned it like crazy and still need to oil just letting it dry well This seems to have helped a little it was still full of cosmoline as well as the gas tube was full of cosmoline.

+1 to clean it some more. I mean REALLY clean it. Get some brake cleaner. (I don't recommend that for most guns, but it won't hurt this one.) It shouldn't feel gooey at all by the time you're done. While you're at it, make sure the gas piston moves freely and rattles a little, and that the firing pin rattles clearly in the bolt.

I just have gotten my Yugo M59 back from Kivaari, Tom Prince. It is unbelievable. Smooth. Light. Safe. I just have learned about negative engagement on an SKS trigger that can cause an accidental discharge when a cartridge is chambered and the gun is accidentally bumped or dropped for some reason. Check it out at http://www.sksboards.com/smf/index.php?board=62.0
You will be amazed at how professional and prompt this guy is with his work. I called him a few times to ask questions and he was always polite and knowledgeable.

Tom Prince is the SKS trigger King. I would definitely fork out the cash for one of his trigger jobs on the sks.
