Skyy and Kel-Tec

If you can't shoot the P11 accurately, blame yourself, not the gun. Mine has been 3.5" at 25 yards accurate from day one. I shoot it very well. I can mow down 6 out of 6 6" plates off hand at 25 yards if I don't get in a big hurry. That's plenty accurate for defense. And, I can fire it in a hurry. The trigger is not what slows me down with the gun, it's the muzzle whip and the short sight radius that has to be re-acquired. That's common with both guns.

Yeah, the P11 doesn't endear non-DA revolver shooters with its trigger, but it's very smooth, just a little long. It's as light as any revolver DA, 8.5 lbs. Revolvers generally go higher than that. Once you get used to it (if you do), the P11 is accurate and it's a safe gun to carry with that long trigger. It don't need no stinkin' safety. :D

Again, I cannot say what the Skyy is like as I haven't owned or fired one. But, xingr8 likes his so I have no reason to doubt him. I don't make judgements on guns I don't or haven't owned and/or fired extensively. And, I can't say there's too many guns I wouldn't try on today's market if I had the need for one like it. I really like the little subcompact nines, though, whatever brand you wind up with. Lots of firepower in a very small package with a good amount of punch. They're made to order for the CCW civilian.

When I bought my KT, the subcompacts were just getting popular as states were passing CCW legislation. I checked out a steel framed Kahr and the KT. I didn't care too much for the Kahr due to the extremely light, short trigger and the weight of the thing. DA should be DA, not SA. You need to learn to shoot DA or just stick with a 1911 with the redundant safeties IMHO. I never liked Glock "safe action" as a concealment pistol for the same reasons. Anyhow, the Kahr was over five hundred bills at the time. I've not regretted my choice in the least.
