I am picking up the high quality US made sear and trigger offered by HKParts. My reading has found that people got a crisper pull. A little stone work with a sear block and they will be sweet. The SL8 trigger is almost a match quality from what I have gathered from those that know more than I. Especially when compared to the G36. I am going to put the two quality US Parts in and give it a try. Also mentioned was that the SL8 springs are much nicer than the G36.
Most all trigger groups can be smoothed out with very gentle work and good stones. I am wanting to get some of the travel out of there.

I am looking for a US Hammer too. Not that it needs help, just want to up my parts count on the inner workings.

Anyone got any experience with SL8 G36 triggers?

Bump...Anyone got any experience with SL8 G36 triggers?

The SL8 and G36 trigger mechanisms are identical with the exception of the full auto/burst components.
They in fact use the same hammers, sears, trigger etc.

Stay with only HDPS parts.

I have spoke to a smith that said the US made Sear is garbage and to stay away from it. Told me to stay with only HDPS parts. Anyone mimic this sentiment?
