I stripped the original screw bushings+screws when I went to put on my new nills grips :fire:

I can only get grip screw bushings from a manufacturer approved by the US state department from an approved list that brownells has sent me to be posted to Europe. :(

As such I'm limited to these for choice...but despite searching am unsure they will do the required job so would REALLY APPRECIATE some help from you gentlemen.

will these 'slim' grip screws & bushings fit on normal sized grip?

I want to get my nills grip on my colt as soon as possible

The screws will have to be replaced as they are shortened to clear the mag when installed over grips. The standard thickness grips will require standard grip screws. Be careful if this is done as the bushing will not "fill up" the hole in the grips and one may crack the grip by over torquing the grip screw. Snugging the screw with a small o-ring under the screw head will secure the grip with out over stressing the material. I use the o-rings on my thin grips ( g10) even though they are probably the strongest grips out there today besides metal stocks.
Either part number from Brownells will work with thin grips.
