Sling help

Hello. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a solution to my problem. I have a 870P with the synthetic stock and the swivel on the bottom. I also have a Wilson Combat mag extension with the sling loop on the left side. My sling is a 3 point CQB and because of the way its threaded (side of weapon on front, bottom of weapon on rear) it does not hang right. What should I do? Should I drill a new mount on the side of the stock? Any ideas anyone?? Anyone around Orange County, Ca?

Come on gang, how about some help?
I think a sling will be the first accessory on my shotty. Would like to be able to carry it slung across the front, horizontally. I guess I could just rest it on my belly!

CQB solutions has the solution. Pun intended. They have a rig that goes on the stock. It snaps in place and mounts the sling to the side. Let's see if I can find the link...http://www.cqbsolutions.com/slingacc.htm#870smp

This isn't quite what I was talking about. What I was talking about was webbing that wrapped around the end of the stock but you might have to buy a new sling to get it. This link shows a mount that you put in between the stock and the receiver. Might be the ticket for someone with your situation.
