Slinging an 870

My 870 has an entry type stock with a flashlight built into the forearm.has an 18" barrel with full length ext mag tube.On the mag tube are two ext mag tube stabilizers.The one at the muzzle has a sling swivel .The swivel is vertical on the left side of the gun(Opposite the ejection port)The other sling swivel is on the bottom of the buttstock.Can I set up a sling with this current set up.

Indeed you could, though putting one on the left hand side of the stock would be handier.

Pictures would indeed help. In any case there is tons of after market support for the 870. If you wanted to set it up for a sling, some minor parts swapping would make it happen. I had my 870 setup with a barrel/magazine clamp, sling stud at the 6 o clock position factory installed and added a sling plate that went between the receiver and butt stock. The plate costs maybe $20. Made a great setup for a 2 point sling.
