I heard that Sig quality had gone a little downhill since getting all of the recent contracts. Between the US contracts and the contract to re-arm the French Gendarme, they are pretty busy.
I own a few Sigs and none of them have sloppy triggers. Even the new DAK and R models that I've played with at the local shop are good. I'd send it back to Sig or have them send you a new trigger bar and trigger.
If you really want to go all out, send the Sig to Bruce Gray ([email protected]) and have him spiff it up for you with a nice action job!
Everyone take a deep breath...how much movement are you talking about? All auto triggers will have a little side to side movement. Something is wrong if the trigger is very loose but if it works don't sweat it.
I've taken the gun to the range a couple of times and it performs flawlessly. It does have a bit more play in the trigger than my other Sigs but nothing major. Perhaps I made it sound worse than I intended in my original post.
