Yep, regularly. The biggest problem folks had with the Backup is that they never broke the darned thing in. I imagine you could still find some today with less that a box of shells run thru them.jeepnik, do you actually carry that AMT .45? i shot on back in 1993 and it was a jamomatic....it was a fellow cop's and he carried as a BUG but it wouldnt stumble through one magazine without jamming on me...no i didnt limp wrist it. i had the same version but in .380 back then too.
oh yeah, lets not forget the glock GAP gun that pretty small too.
I used to, but due to various issues I no longer prefer a big bore compact. Why? because I have found that I can put more rounds, lead and energy accurately into a target in a short period of time with a compact 9MM than a compact big bore.been pondering....with all the high caps out there, even the G26 and what not....how many prefer and actually carry a big bore compact gun?
Charter Arms Bulldog .44spl
Kahr PM45 or CW45
Glock 36
it was, but some have tried to morph it into "not much bigger and".....a G36 is not in this category as it is as big as a G19....there some others mentioned as well but i still read this to see what other learned carriers use......I thought the question was on big bore small guns,
I'd still have mine if I'd have never picked up a Kahr, the guy I sold mine to still has it and carrys it.The one thing that really surprises me about this thread, and no it's not that folks have drifted off topic, is that I'm not the only one still carrying the .45 AMT Backup.
