Small revolvers

NAA makes quite a few new grips. I have used these guns for years &have found them to work fine. The black widow & the sheriff's model with the right grips might be the ticket! The new loads for this cal. are good defense loads, not at the top but better than somethingthat that you can't shoot! If you can shoot a snub in 327 mag. maybe you can handle a downloaded .38 . Just a thought.

I have read much on the 351PD in .22 magnum. It looks nice! I picked up an LCR awhile ago and the trigger is quite amazing. Both are quality products. Have not had a J frame in 20 years and maybe they are worth a look. I wrote to Charter Arms and made the mistake of asking about reports of quality control problems. The owner, Mr. Ecker wrote back a furious letter. Called me a "child" and told me to go buy someone elses guns as they only wanted "responsible" gun owners to buy their guns.. Wow, no problem there. Not supposed to question such things I guess. Perhaps it was a good thing though. When I pick up my Ruger it just reeks of quality workmanship. That's peace of mind especially when it is to be used to save your life someday. With a CA I guess I would always wonder. The lifetime warrenty don't matter much if it fails when you need it.
Charter Arms was a top quality American manufacturer back in the day. They invented the transfer bar safety mechanisms and gave it to the rest of the industry instead of keeping it for themselves. Times got bad and the company was bought and sold several times including charter Arms 2000 which was the worst incarnation.

Mr. Ecker was one of the original owners and bought the company back a few years ago. Since then the company had made huge strides in QC and brought out a lot of new revolvers. I don't know why he wrote you such a letter and I would really like to see what you originally sent him. I think the revolvers they produce since the company is back in the hands of someone who cares is again top quality and a good American company.

NO, I am not connected to that company in any way.

This ones alot of fun.I guess it fits the small revolver catagory but in 9 shot 22lr.Goes to the range, desert, mountains everytime.Everyone seems to like shooting it.

I'd like to have that same NEF in .32 H&R.
I've owned 7 Charter Arms revolvers in my life. I've never had a single problem with any of them.
Then again, I've owned many Taurus revolvers/pistols and never had a problem with any of them.
Same goes for Rugers.

The thing with the .327 is that you can always use .32 H&R mag if you can't find .327 ammo.
And, if you can't find .32 H&R, you can use .32 S&W long and .32S&W ammo.

I too would like to see this letter but for different reasons. I'm calling bs on this one. I have dealt with Charter Arms and have been treated extremely well.
