small rifle primer substitute

I was wondering given the shortage of regular small rifle primers if it would be adviseable to use benchrest SR or Magnum SR primers. Local stores are all out of regular SR, but have a good bit of the others.

Sure, no reason not to if they are available.

Yes you can substitute SR mag for SR primers but you need to drop back the powder charge and work up the load again. Not a big deal just run the ladder again and watch for signs of pressure as you go.
I seriously doubt you will find any difference unless you are at or near max to begin with.
