I've got a 3913 with Novak sites that appear to be way off. At 10 feet the rounds hit approx 6-8 inches low and left from point of aim.

How can these sights be adjusted? I only see one set screw in the rear sight. Is it possible to adjust these sights for both windage and elevation? Can it be bore sighted?

The hitting low is a known issue with the 3913. When I bought my 3913NL in 1991, it hit low: about seven inches low at 25 yards. I had to send it back to S&W for a shorter front sight. When I spoke with the customer service representative, she told me I was not the first person to have the same issue. The front sight could also be reduced in height to solve the issue.

The rear sight is drift adjustable within its dovetail. Just remove the set screw before your proceed.

S&W makes three different height front sights for the 3913. Call customer service and order a shorter front sight.

The 3913 is one of the finest pistols S&W ever made. IMHO of course. TJ

10' is just over 3 yards, 6-8 inchs is a huge divergence at that distance. rounds hitting both low and left usually indicate other factors. the S&W 3913 is a great gun and is capable of surprising accuracy

what size groups are you getting at that distance?
what ammo are you using?
have you tried shooting it from a rest?

At that distance I would say more shooter than pistol. Bench rest it and shoot have other people try it . I really believe it more in your shooting. No matter how many guns you have or shot some require a adjustment of grip or trigger use age. Their are charts that will show you what your possibly doing wrong. It we were talking 15 or 20 yards I would look at sight for low shooting
