Smith & Wesson Model 581 revolvers

I thought these might interest some folks in this list. All of them have the original square-butt wood grips and full-lug 4" barrels. I have no connection whatsoever with Allan's Armory and I'd like to hear from the S&W buffs on any pros and cons to the 581.

Originally intended an an 'L' frame police sidearm I think. Fixed sighted .357 Magnum. Nothing wrong with them. I prefer the old Model 13/65 'K' frames personally. So did the FBI. Lighter carry, just don't shoot a gazillion magnums at the range with it.
