While the trigger was as bad as I'd heard and the polymer was really innovative at the time, the thing that caught my eye when I first shot one...both semi and selective...was the front sight.
Up until then I had never seen a front sight where you lined up the negative (shadow) image in the rear sight.
The 3-rounds burst was fun, but since the stock was basically unobtainium it was a deal breaker
