:confused:I have a friend that asked me if I could find a new stock for his 410ga. Snake Charmer. He had it broken the stock by accident and needed a replacement. I have looked every where. Does anyone know where I might be able to locate one Thanks.

There were not all that many Snake Charmers made in it's several different iterations, from more then one manufacture.

Finding a replacement stock for the exact one he has is going to be a big hard problem.

A custom stock maker is probably your best bet.
But it will cost more then the gun is worth.

Or, if he still has all the pieces of the broken one?

Repairing that is going to be his best, and maybe only option.

Have you tried Nurmrich/Gun Parts Corp? They may be worth a call even if they show out of stock online.

You MIGHT get a Rossi buttstock to fit if you have a Snake Charmer One.
If you have the Snake Charmer ll with the center tabs, things become more complicated and a replacement stock in wood may be your only option.

I've had a Snake Charmer II for 20 years and have never found a replacement stock for it. I never liked the plastic PG stock, they should have made one with a conventional wood stock.

The original Snake Charmer was a all stainless steel small .410 with a plastic short one hand type stock made and sold by H. Koon Inc out of Texas. The design was improved by adding a manual safety switch and renamed the Snake Charmer II made and sold by Sporting Arm Mfg out of Littlefield TX. At some point french company Verny-Carron took over through an American subsidiary and moved manufacturing to Kansas. It is now made in Turkey and imported by Kebco LLC in PA.

Rossi and a few other companies made or make single shot shotguns similar in design and call them Snake Tamer, Charmer etc but they are not the same as the Snake Charmer II. Might want to check with the importer to see if parts are available if not from Numrich Arms.
