So How Accurate is Your AK47?

Mine is not an AK-47 in the traditional sense ... and most aren't these days, really. It's a Norinco AK-84S in 5.56. I never really bench checked it for accuracy, but I can always hit center mass on a silhouette target at 100 yards, which is good enough for me out of a battle rifle with iron sights.

My Romanian SAR-1 will ring the 4x6" swinging plates at 100 yards on my range with boring regularity. I'm running a red dot that co witnesses with the irons.

Mine shoot 4 to 5 MOA regularly.
What I would like to do or see someone else do (which I admit is much more likely) is hand load some ammo specific to a generic off the shelf AK and see just how accurate the good, or best ammo could be to that AK.
I'm sure much of the accuracy or lack there of in AK's may be do to the rather inconsistent ammo, powder charges, bullet weights etc.
Anyone here ever do that?
I'm thinking you could get it down to 2.5 or 3 with some even minor tweaks to the ammo..
