Most of the carry pieces fall in to the 5 to 10 year old range... and then there is that danged old 40 year old smitty that occasionally falls into my holster... danged thing likes to go out once in a while... (mostly to nice outings... 'cause of the mother of pearl grips, and perfect deep bluing, it seems to think it's a "BBQ" gun... and I haven't the heart to tell it otherwise! )
I alternate between 3 guns: A 2 year old Les Baer Thunder Ranch 1911, a 9 year old Clackamas Kimber 1911 and a 12 year old Browning MK3 Hi power.

No carry (living in my college dorm, so I haven't even bothered to apply yet. guess what the first thing i do when i get an apartment is?)
but my oldest functioning firearm is a 1944 Arisaka Type 99 (with intact mum!) but its a family heirloom now, so i've only taken it to the range once.
I go to pick up my second carry gun in about five hours. She's a fine little Kel-tec 9mm I put on layaway. I'm shivering with excitement. I can hear her calling my name from the shop. Any guesses as to why I'm up at 0245?
Normal carry gun is less than a year old. Sometimes I carry a East German Makarov born in 1963 (If I remember correctly). My oldest firearm is a 1912 Swedish Mauser.
Number one is a Beretta 92FS - 11 years old and never failed me. By far my favorite.
Number two is a Taurus 650 CIA in .357 magnum, 2 " - it is five years old and not only packs a walup, it is really, really loud!
The MFG date on my P99 compact AS is 2004. I purchased it brand new around November 2005. The XD45 is not even 2 months old(from MFG). It isnt my carry gun yet becuase I havent put enough rounds through it but it looks like it probably will become on of them! Good thread byt he way!
I'm not sure how old my G23 is. Serial number is GXZ7-- Too bad it's not a GLO or GLK. That would be cool. It was made when they were still using the #5 followers, anyway.
