CZ 75 on hold down at the gun shop until my thirty day waiting period was finished so I could get another gun, and I found myself thinking about the fact that if I ever could carry or had to carry I don't have a decent carry gun. I proceeded to get online and check out the Sig P239. Great piece, remembered that they had one down at the shop that where my CZ was on hold.

I fully intended on going down there and taking the hold off of my CZ and putting it on the 239.

But then I saw the P228. WOW. Never held one before yesterday. I fully believe that they designed that gun around a molding of my hand.

Needless to say I bought the P228 to keep my P220 company. Tell me, would that 228 look good with wood grips?

Charles Daly EMS Field

I am thinking of a CD EMS and have questions
It seems that many people here or at 1911.com are not either happy with their CDs or have heard of some that have been lemons.

That being said, I an thinking of trading a springfield XD in .40 for a CD EMS to use as a CCW piece. The xd is just to bulk to carry. I want something slim, ambi and powerful. Sor far the 1911 platform and some other models (firestorm, beretta to chunky, HK to large) are all I can find. EMS fits the bill perfectly.

I shoot often and practice much but still will only put about 400 rds a month through this weapon. I think it will hold up to my level of usage.

I have a question. I have a Wolf Commander 22# spring I used in my XD. Will this spring fit and work well to reduce recoil in the CD EMS?????
