So what's really the problem with S&W's AR Sporter?

I have a MD compliant sport. Not sure how it wound up in Idaho, but I bought it brand new from a local retailer the Monday after Obummer was re-elected. It was supposed to be hard to get the nut off for the stock, but it came right off and now has an adjustable stock. I have even thought about a free floating stock, but for what I use it for it works well enough for now.

I believe it is a 1-8 twist. It is very accurate and so far very reliable. Even shoots cast bullets well.

Too bad they don't offer the Sport in a Mid-length LW profile w/o the grenade launcher cut. I think it would have even higher appeal. Personally I don't own a carbine length gas system and don't ever plan to again. Other than that the Sport looks like a sweet deal.
