SOG 45 ammo

Has anybody tried this ammo from SOG ? If how is it? Its the 45 ammo about half way down the page

its probably as corrosive as nuclear waste
if i used it id be cleaning my gun for an hour making sure i got all the corrosive salts out
bolt action rifles are much easier to clean than pistols IMO and i dont mind corrosive in them
but a pistol.....
mmmmm....

IIRC, pistol ammo went non corrosive before rifle ammo.


corrosive ammo is no big deal. clean it when you're done with the hoppes no. 9 you should have with your cleaning stuff.

It is US mfg. ammo we sent the Russians during WW II on the lend lease program.
A boat load of it was imported a couple of years ago. It is corrosive primed so make sure you clean you pistols. It sold pretty good when it first came in but the collector novelity wore off quickly. As you can get non-corrosive Wolf ammo for the same price and other imported boxer primed brass cased ammo for a couple $ more a box why deal with corrosive ammo.

I was thinking of picking up an unopened 500 round tin that they have for $75 just as a collector item. But I know it probably won't really be worth anything until I'm about 70
