Sold the last of my Glocks yesterday

I use to have Glocks (19/30) and Walther P99's (9mm/40SW) until I shot them side by side. I liked the Glocks, but as soon as I saw that the Walther shot so much better in my hands and was much more accurate . . . the Glocks left my safe, never to return.

If any of you guys want to get rid of a G20, then let me know. I'd be glad to take one off of your hands. :D

That seems to be the way it goes for certain type collectors(myself included). I just sold a Colt stainless Delta Gold Cup in 10MM auto that I bought new in 1994. It had sat in the safe for the last 3 or 4 years. It was at one time a must have handgun for me. Now I am old and into longer barreled wheel guns and black rifle clones. My Gold Cup sale is going to finance a Stag Arms model 15L and a nice piece of glass to mount atop it. As a former packrat in my younger days, I now find myself thinning the collection and getting items I really want(well at least really want for now).

There are too many good quality handguns out there to keep the ones you don't like! Congrats on the ones you've kept!

I think of guns as monopoly. Even if I don't like a gun, I do not get rid of it. There may be some time that I may decide that I like it or some time when I would have wished that I had it back.

Been feelin' the same way myself. Have a G17 & G22 that haven't been touched in maybe 4-5 years. They may have to go in order to help fund my custom 1911 projects.

INFIDEL!!!!!!

MAY THE FLEAS OF A THOUSAND CAMELS INFEST YOUR ARMPITS!!!!

"Well.....I cannot fault anyone who gives up any pistol in favor of SIGS.."

Have to agree here, esp if the classic P2xx series Sigs. It doesn't get a whole lot better than that.

That's no fair! If you don't have any Glocks nobody can accuse you of limp-wristing!
