Well, I've been on the search for a new carry pistol, and was really looking for a slim 9mm. Then i went to the gun store and checked out the Glock 26. And loved it. Then I compared the Glock 26 and 27, and had decided on the .40 instead of the 9mm.

Well, after having made my mind up, I went to the range with my buddy yesterday to shoot his brand spanking new Beretta PX4. It's a full size, and shoots like a dream! (I'm a die-hard 92FS fan, FWIW.)

Now I'm thinking I might want to go for the Storm's subcompact model over the Baby Glock.

Does anyone have some comparison photos of the PX4 in .40 cal subcompact and the Glock 27? I'm particularly looking at concealbility and grip width. I'm pretty sure the Glock is smaller. But how much smaller?

I don't own a Glock, but I understand it's a fine weapon. I do have a Beretta and I love all of the Storm's features (DA/SA, hammer, decocker, light rail, etc).

Thanks in advance!!

Don't have a PX4, the subcompact PX4 is not made on the same rotating lockup that the fullsize PX4 is, it has a more ordinary barrel block that locks into the slide. I do have a Glock 27, and it is a phenomenal pistol. I actually didn't really care for Glocks before I bought it, but it really turned my opinion of them around. It is dependable, accurate, and small. It is one of the smallest subcompact service pistols but still sports a 3.5" barrel, the grip is short, only two fingers fit on the grip, but honestly the pinky is overrated. I've tried mine with mag extensions to try to improve things, but I shoot it best with either stock 9-round magazines or 9-round magazines with the GAP baseplate. It doesn't extend downwards at all, just a little spur to the front that the bottom of the ring finger sits on. Helps out.

Did I miss something? No Kel-Tecs in that comparison chart?

EDIT TO ADD: OK, I see, it's greater than 6", less than 7", so the KTs are too small to make the cut.

Oh nice I haven't seen the new list, last one I saw was the mousegun comparison chart!

I picked up a G36 myself:) Shoots great, carries great, gives me the warm fuzzies knowing that i've got a .45 on me at all times. The G36 is the first Glock that felt good in my hands. I think I might put the +1 extension on it, and it'd be perfect:)
