1. Regarding these two models:
the 75 IPSC, and 75 Champion:
CZ's website describes the IPSC as follows:
"The CZ 75 Standard IPSC and the CZ 75 Modified IPSC were build from the ground up for the IPSC competition. With the addition of the 10 round Limited class in USPSA, the CZ 75 Standard is the perfect gun for this competition. Both pistols feature a longer full-length frame and slide than the CZ 75 B and a slightly bigger grip to accommodate the newly designed heavy-duty magazine. Other features include: fully adjustable rear sight, ambidextrous safeties, extended magazine release, checkered front and rear grip strap and a gaping magazine well for the fastest magazine changes. The CZ 75 Modified features a 2 port in-frame compensator with a blast shield to keep the lens of the frame mounted FIRE POINT red dot sight clean. This gun will fit the IPSC 225x150x45 mm rule box.
The Champion model is described thusly:
"The CZ 75 Champion was designed for the popular IPSC sport shooting Open Class. The barrel, slide and compensator are hand fit for maximum accuracy and dependability, the trigger is a hand fit single action only version with take up and over travel adjustment. The pistol features three port compensator, extended magazine release, ambidextrous safeties and fully adjustable sights. Finished with a blue slide and a durable satin nickel finish on the frame."
No mention of the larger grip. So this implies that, unlike the IPSC, the Champion is standard grip and thus accepts all CZ 75 standard cap mags, correct?
2. Between the PCR compact and P01, for those who have shot or owned both, which do you prefer and why?
Thanks.
