Hey everyone.
I'm looking for some night sight recommendations that offer a good balance of crisp accurate day and night use for a CCW Glock. (26 to be exact)
I've been looking around at a few such as TruGlo TFOs, Meprolights, the Trijicon HDs... And the Glock OEMs... It's to my understanding that Trijicon and Meprolight are the only makers of Tritium lamps and other manufactures use their units.
The TFOs are the only one I question for long term operation, it appears that they have an exposed tritium capsule that could possibly be damaged from cleaning or other situations such as possibly bumping it with something perhaps? The Meprolights I have read not only are enclosed like the Trijicons but they have the day paint encapsulated in the glass (or whatever material) that the tritium is in so no solvents can harm the day paint or tritium, is this correct?
Anyway what are some recommendations you guys might have?
