I sent this off in April, it had crazing, toe finish was gone, 2 small cracks, checkering was okay, and a small less than 1/8" spot of speckling. I had Art's re-blue both barrels and the receiver, re-cut the checkering, fix the cracks and re-finish the wood. I am very happy with the job, it is ready for another 43 years of service.

Wow, that's great. I've got a Remington Model 11 (A5 clone) from the late 40's that looks exactly like that. The bluing is perfect, but the wood could use a little work. You've inspired me.

Thank you for posting these pictures.

I was going colorblind from looking at black plastic and matte metal.

And blind from all the lights and lasers.

AMEN to that!...was thinking I was one of a very few who like shotguns (NOT shotties), for clays and birds, not just tacticool stuff.......

And it's even a TWENTY! Very, very tasty, my friend. That looks super. Congratulations. Now, ya gotta go wear the gold offa that trigger. :)

PS: Tell me about this 'Art's' place that did the work. I have a couple of pedestrian Light12's that I'd probably not mind having refinished and a two month turnaround isn't bad a'tall.

PPS: I want a 1964 Light twenty so badly I can taste it, but sadly whenever I find one I cannot afford it. Maybe I can sell an extra kidney....

They came highly recommended, and I will definitely be letting them do 2 more for me. It is amazing the before and after, and the pictures are not even close to representing the gun, it is simply amazing.

I plan on shooting the new off of it Sunday!

Oneouncload and Earlthegoat: Amen Amen Amen !!!!!
Orphaned cowboy: Beautiful! I borrowed one just like it from another one of the Geezers (Doug K) It was original and looked as good as yours. My grandson loved shooting it. Too bad I had to give it back!
