I screwed up a set of grips on my model 57. I kept taking off wood and taking off and went too far. ( I like removing material and taking the angle off the square of the grip)

I'd like two more sets to play with. They used to be plentiful when Smith switched to Round exclusively but the last time I checked I couldn't find any.

I'd appreciate any help.

Well, for all 11 of you that read this thread; good news- someone came forward with some grips and I'm getting them.

Good place, the High Road.

Do a lot of you put Hogue grips on your N frames, and if so, what style?

When you take grips off you unscrew the screw a couple turns and put the screwdriver in the slot and smack it with the hand and pop off the grip on opposite side. Once that grip is off then you can pop off remaining grip from backside. I'm gonna assume thats how you're removing grips.

I haven't removed that many grips in my life and haven't noticed a problem. A couple times they were tight and I thought; gee, why aren't these grips coming off?
