Sources for moonclips

(among others) I have a S&W 646 and a Taurus 905, and I'm trying to find a good source of moonclips for both on them.

For the 646, it's trying to find affordable ones that's the issue. Brownells, as well as TKcustom carry them, but they want around $4 a piece for them (why are the clips for .45 acp so very much cheaper!). I have some RIMZ clips, but have had mixed results with them. In competitions, I tend to pinch them a bit, which makes it harder to load them.

For the 905, Taurus seems to be the only source, and quite frankly the ones that came with the gun are less than poor in quality. I tried some for a S&W 940, but the configuration is different, and they won't fit.

I've tried Ranch products, and they don't carry anything for the 905, and aren't terrible for the 646, but I always seem to have trouble contacting them. Never seem to answer the phone, and emails can take weeks to hear back.

So are they any other good sources?

I tried Rimz ( no good for IPSC), original S&W in 2 sizes ( no good for IPSC), TK ( good, not cheap) and Ranch products: good product at affordable price.

Moonclips.com has quality products at a better price than that of the manufacturers. I think their moonclips are actually better. http://www.moonclips.com/

Seems like there's something wrong when the moonclips for .45 ACP are $1.40 each, while 40 S&W are $4.50 each. Yeah, I know there are more .45 ACP revolvers than 40 S&W, but it still seems to be a bit excessive.

The reason that certain clips are more expensive then others has little to do with the clips, and everything too do with the cost of the tooling to make them. The tooling is expensive, and the maker has to recover his investment by adding some of it to the cost of the product. So high-volumn sellers (such as .45) where the tooling is largely paid for cost less the some newer sizes - especially those with limited sales.
