South Carolina Concealed Carry: Restaurants???

I am in South Carolina for a visit. I have an iPhone app that tells me that I cannot conceal carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol. Is this correct?

Sadly, yes. There are measures being taken to change this but as it stands you are not supposed to carry in a restaurant that serves alcohol for consumption on premises. Personally, so long as no one at my table is drinking I don't tend to worry about it too much. Please don't take that as any type of suggestion

but then they don't likely have a carry permit either.

I can open carry in a bar....Although I usually don't...But I can!
