The South Florida Tactial Fireamrs Club is looking to add a few new members.

We meet at Markham Park law enforcement range on the third Saturday of every month from 8-5pm, and hire one of the Metro Dade PD Firearms instructors for the day, generally Robert Ruiz. Robert is a champion glock shooter and heck of a nice guy.

Yesterday we practiced with Carbines and Pistols while on the move. The final course of fire was shooting at multiple targets from a table (simulating a restaurant), then engaging targets while retreating to a rifle, and then using cover to address targets with the rifle.

We are a small club of professionals (Doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.), and a couple LEOs & PMC's. We shoot together every month, and we are all quite proficient with firearms, so we do drills way beyond the beginner level offered everywhere else locally and way way beyond the extremely limited drills allowed at Trail Glads and Markham. Also, the club is a non-profit and we run everything ourselves so the dues ($105 for the first class, and then $200 for 3 monthly classes if you join), are substantially cheaper than any comprable training anywhere.

If you live in S. Fla., know how to safely shoot pistol, rifle & shotgun (which you probably do if you are reading this) and would like to come out shooting with us. Send me a PM and tell me a bit yourself.
