Makarov ammo is not as plentiful as it was before. Heck, best price for plinking ammo is about $ 8.50 / 50 (before shipping) on the 'net. I can beat that price with 9mm FMJ stuff by just going to Academy and buying some Monarch.

But I guess its not outrageously expensive to practice with. Now, Georgia Arms makes a 95 gr 9mm Mak loading advertised at 1000 fps with Gold Dots as the bullet. Price is about $ 17 / box of 50, not bad as far as SD ammo goes.

Seems lke that might be better than a .380 SD round. Any opinions?

I would say the Corbon DPX copper bullet will hold its own against the MAK
Its listed at 1050 fps and Stephen A Camp got 1100FPS if I remember right from a PPK/S . And the advertized 1050fps when he fired from a Bersa
