Special order ammo at walmart?

I have heard a few times on different forums about people having some sort of catalog for walmart and having their walmart special order cases of ammo in for them. Where do I find this catalog of products that you can order and does walmart give a case price discount if you order cases of the WWB stuff? Everytime I go to my walmart, I have to explain to the clerk where to find the ammo I want on his own sale rack. It'd be interesting to find out if all walmarts do offer this special order service or if its something that managers do as favors.

Some Wal-Marts have the ammo catalogue, some don't. We have one but only really use it to order some things we know will sell. We would order a whole case for someone but they usually don't want to when we offer. Your best bet would be to go in between 2-4 and ask then. The Dept. Mgr. should be there then almost assuredly and they would have authority to order you a large amount. There is no volume discounts on ammo.

I don't know about ordering cases of ammo , but you can put in an online request that your local WalMart story carry a particular brand/caliber of ammo . I put in a request that my local store would start to carry 357 SIg ammo and a month later they did .

You can also special ordersome guns at some Wal-Marts, though they don't exactly shout it from the rooftops. I just found out about it last week, and I 've been there 7 months.

Indeed, they can order guns. Back when I worked for them, I had them order in a nice, engraved 11-87.

Naturally, I used my 20% off one item christmas bonus to buy it.

I ordered ammo from Wal-Mart once.

When the ammo came in, they marked it several dollars a box more than the price listed in the catalog. I refused to buy it.
