Special run of Melonite finish S&W 4566s?

My question is concerning a special run of Melonite finished S&W 4566s. These are Police trade-ins that a few distributors are starting to carry....Do any THR members know the history of these pistols, i.e. Which Depts./Agencies issued them and have recently traded them off, etc.?
Also which S&W mags are the best the ones w/ the black followers or w/ the yellow followers?

They were done up for the US Marshalls service is what I was told.

I have been looking for one for the past 18 months. Do you know where one is that I could purchase? Please PM me the info if possible. Thanks!

Oh, the black followers are the last revision, and the most reliable.
